What is your favorite part of summer?

For me it's the weather. Missoula is surrounded by mountains and as many of you know (because I complain about it a lot) it gets socked in by weather and so the winters are cloudy with little days of sun.

Not the summer. We can go a full 2 months, and usually do of blue sky and sunshine every day. If you ever want to plan an outdoor wedding, do it in Montana during July and August!! We do occasionally get thunderstorms but you can pretty much guarantee a sunny day!

Another favorite thing? flip flops. my feet love them.

You live in God's country, Denise! Love Missoula and Glacier in the summer (used to visit a roommate who moved there in the 1980's).

The best part of summer are the longer daylight hours......noticing the days are getting shorter now. The other favorite thing are the summer foods....tomatoes, peaches, strawberries, watermelon and I could go on and on.

I basically loathe anything that involves heat and humidity, so summer isn't my fave ... but my friend and I have started a tradition of going to the local semi-pro baseball park on a night they have fireworks and we eat ballpark junk food and try not to get hit by foul balls, and enjoy fireworks at the end of the evening. It's become one of my favorite parts of summer now.

For me I love the long days. I hate dark.
I love that from 5am til 10pm it's light. I remember one evening even at 11pm is wasn't totally dark.
We are already noticing the evenings getting shorter

My favorite part is that time seems endless during summer. Especially dreaming about the summer time seems to be limitless. And as a mom of two small ones it's also very nice to not have to put on a tone of clothes! We can just open the door and tada! Out and play!
