JANUARY REVEAL: RAK #2 - WINNER ANNOUNCED
Please answer for your chance to win a $5 credit to the cocoa daisy store! Winner will be randomly chosen and announced later this week.
Do you get excited to start a new calendar, planner, or notebook for the New Year?
I personally plan from June-May, so the new January start calendars don’t work for me, but I LOVE seeing what they are and what people do with them.
I did grab a 2016 calendar magnet from the dollar store that will I’ve on my fridge
How about you?

i get insanely excited about the new calendar year. i adore making lists and plans even if i don't get the stuff done. list making is recreational for me for some reason. i'm a weirdo!
i kind of like to revisit in late july too. since i teach school, august first is almost like another new calendar year for me. it's a good time to get rejuvenated, tweak things, or just make a whole new set of plans.

My "year" runs August to July (I'm in education), so academic calendars really work best. That being said, I don't like academic calendar set ups, so I make due with Jan-Dec. I do love the look and feel of a brand new calendar. It's sort of like a new box of crayons...so many possibilities!

I love the start of a new year! I'm using a carpe diem for 2016, so I'm also super excited to move up to A5 from personal!

Yes! Love getting a new wall calendar with lots of new photos to look at. Also get excited every month to get my new Daisy Dori. They're always so pretty with all the artwork from Arleigh, and always love the colors!

I usually get a wall calendar every January but I do planners from summer to summer because my life runs on an academic schedule.

Though not a teacher, I like the school year calendar. It works for our year round swim season as well as just how life functions with two in school. That might well change once the nest is empty.
I do have my Carpe Diem planner for my scrappy projects. And a yearly wall calendar that stays empty most of the year as the iPhone calendar that all can access is oh! so handy when there are so many moving parts to coordinate!

We put everything in our iPhone calendar, that way our party of five can see what is going on everyday. I did receive a beautiful gold journal from a sweet friend that will keep in my purse to make lists, etc....

I mostly plan month to month, but I do love starting a new full year calendar! I don't know what it is, but something about seeing a full year gets me ambitious for the coming year

I love the start of every new month!
I also have an academic planner, so I am still using the same from 2015, but I do love when I get a new one!

I'm ready to restart mine. It got so bulky. I ended up getting a desk planner and that will free up my filofax for everyday things. The desk one will be a blessing for the year view I need.

Re: JANUARY REVEAL: RAK #2
I love the fresh start, the search for the perfect wall-calendar, too. I started Bullet Journaling in August and still have quite a bit of room in this one, so will not start that anew.

Re: JANUARY REVEAL: RAK #2
I am big on planning ahead, so the new calendar each January gets me very excited for the year to come. I love marking all the anniversaries, birthdays and repeating special events for each year that I do not want to miss.
I am really enjoying my A5 Planner that I just started. So pretty and so much more fun to make notes and plans in. I just use a lined page in the back listing the years major events so I can add them as my monthly "gift" from Cocoa Daisy arrives.
