Too much?
I was so excited to get my kit, and I loved the DITL cards so much I wanted to use them right away! However, I like to keep the focus of the page on the pictures, and I'm afraid I may have overdid it with this one. What says the Daisies? Are the cards to bright and distracting for the pictures? Maybe I should have waited and used the cards elsewhere. Hmmmmmm.....

Re: Too much?
I like it! I love how the paper colors pull in the colors in the leaves and how you have balanced the patterns out by using the border strip at the top! Oh, and that little pop of green in the bottom left helps pull in the green in the photo
Good job!

Re: Too much?
I think it's a perfect balance Terry.
The DITL cards aren't distracting from the photos at all, especially as all the photos are together and the cards then beneath. They both compliment each other so well.
Beautifully made

Re: Too much?
I love it. I don't think the cards take away from the photos at all.

Re: Too much?
I think the cards are complimentary to the photos and add to the story.

Re: Too much?
AWESOME page!! I love it. I think the contrast in all the bright peachy/pinky tones of the cards and the vibrant cool tones in the photos really make the page work and my eye just wants to jump around from the photos to the cards and back to the photos. I don't think it's too much at all... I think it's just perfect!

Re: Too much?
Like others have said, the greens in your photos unite every thing. It's such a happy mix of colors, it's awesome! I think what's bugging you is the washi along the top. I'd pull it over to the left or the right side, think like typesetting and justifying it one way or the other (sorry, the design critique group I taught for MSD comes back to haunt sometimes. I give my opinion too freely...).

It's perfect! I love how you balanced your photos with the cards and still kept your pics as the primary focus.
