August reveal morning; come and chat.

Happy reveal morning!! So what is everyone doing today?

I've got to get some work done so the boys and I will just be hanging at home today. If it gets hot maybe we'll go for a quick dip at Grandma's pool today.

We're just relaxing this morning, watching the Olympics. I hope to squeeze some scrapping in, of course!

Pool time sounds fabulous, Christine!

I just hopped over to the August sneaks (again) to get my mojo running! Can you tell us the price of the special kit?

The project kit will be $48.50 and that includes not only the kit contents but a full set of instructions too.

Creating...doing lesson plans...and I was told I may teach a class (upper level) I've never taught before..so I'm obsessing and anxious about that this morning.
We may go to the pool too...it may be too hot even for that...pool feels like bath water.

Sherry not trying to push the project kit but i have to say if you get you'll be very happy! It has a ton of awesome stuff in it and you don't have to use it just for the project either.i got it i have made a mini and had lots leftover to use on layouts too.

we are heading to the cottage after church tomorrow so i am madly trying to clean my house from top to bottom while packing and grocery shopping and (clearly doing this which i have no time for but i couldn't resist!) getting hair cuts and trying to keep my puppy from chewing my house to bits. whew. i am ready for a week at the cottage.

Gotta run! Yard work is calling and I want to tackle it before it's 100 degrees outside.

Have fun at the cottage, Kelly!

A week at the cottage sounds wonderful Kelly - good luck getting everything ready! Speaking of cottage we have not made it up to my Mom and Dad's place yet this summer, I'm hoping we can squeeze in a weekend before the summer is over.

I know what you mean about the heat Shelly, I need to do some deadheading in my garden but every time I think about it's blazing hot out and I just don't have the desire to sweat that much ;D

Another thing I have got to do today is give our little Blu a bath!

Hiya,

I've made a mini book this morning for an engagement party we are about to attend.
Need to clean up now before we go.
I currently look like an ad for Maya Mists and Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze.
I personally love the look but others might think it's slightly odd.

See you later.

Me too I am always torn about showing up somewhere with painty hands or taking the time to totally scrub up...I bet mechanics struggle with that too. I think it's kind of a badge or what I am but I don't want to embarrass anyone.

Good morning! We were invited here to go out on a boat with some friends here on Lake Minocqua and since we've never been out on the lakes yet while living here we're going! I'm excited since it's been such a loooong time since I've been out on a boat. ;D

Having coffee right now. Late night working an event at the most gorgeous ranch ever. It was breathtaking. Really hard work schlepping wine/beer/dishes all night but fun as well.

Farmer's Market for me and then house cleaning duties. Wanted to go to Salmon Lake for a few hours before the reveal but don't know if we will make it. hopefully. :)

The Mr. and DD went to the final Frontier Days parade this morning - their Daddy Daughter Date this week. I'm watching the Olympics, doing laundry, and hopefully crafting a bit today. I think the rest of the fam will go to the pool or golf after the parade. We finally have a quiet weekend - it has been so busy lately.

My MIL offered to take Sara for the day today, so we dropped her off about an hour ago. DH is working on materials for his subscription website; he sells resource material for Bible quizzing, and is getting renewals already for this year's materials, so he needs to get the site updated. I am enjoying a cup of coffee, and then will get to work on housecleaning and laundry. We will also be working on plans for a trip we are taking in about 3 weeks -- DH has a one-day training session in Toronto on Aug. 28 for his day job (he is the chief technical officer for a small company here in La Ronge), and we are in the midst of raising support for full-time Christian ministry work in Toronto, so we are going to drive (with DH's company paying the equivalent of his flight toward our gas costs), and meet with potential supporters in Manitoba, Ontario and the northern U.S. (Michigan and Minnesota, I think), meet with our future colleagues, and have some vacation time. And DH and I also need to review his Bible quizzing billing system, as I'm taking over that responsibility this year. I'd like to do some scrapping today, too....

Carmen.
