Would you rather be very very tall or very very short?

Tall. I always wished I was taller. I'm 5'8" and would love to be 5'10" or taller. It really has it's advantages in volleyball and basketball. :)

True, are you a volleyball/basketball player Alissa? It's funny how we see people online. I thought you'd be more my height, I'm 5'4", I'll be looking up to you when we finally meet I guess! :)

Actually I'm very tall compared with all my aunts/uncles and most cousins.....like my height at 5'5". Would not want to be much shorter.

I'm 5'8", and I like being tall-ish. I don't think I'd like being much taller tho... 6 ft would make me feel a little like a freak, although there are some very beautiful 6 ft + women out there! I just like the height I am. ;)

I was in school, but not so much in my old age. I'm just a walker now. :) My mom is closer to 5'4", maybe 5'5". She says she's shrunk though. OH, another reason to start out tall. :)

Hmmm, it depends on the situation I think...tall would make a lot of things easier, but being short, I can sometimes duck under things easier without bumping my head :D

I have much more experience being short! I'm 5' 3/4" and I agree that the 3/4" DOES make a difference!! I honestly don't feel short most of the time, until a see myself in a mirror or photo with other people (who are usually taller than me!) or if I'm walking around with my sons.

@sylvia - I am 5 3/4 inches too. LOL
I like being short for most things. It has been an advantage to me playing tennis and basketball as I am pretty agile and can run balls down. I do wish I was an inch or two taller though. :)

I'm 5'8" and love my height! Because of it I was pretty good volleyball and basketball player and a figure skater too! I had fairly powerful legs and a long length of them!

I'm only 5'2" and always wished to be taller! My mom is 5' even, and my Dad is only 5'4", so height wasn't in my genes.
Thank goodness for chunky 3" heels on shoes! :)

My Wyndham is only 4'7" after years of growth hormone shots even. We stopped them a few years ago and so she's as big as she's going to get. She teaches me every day that small is mighty though and joy has no size limits! So I have to say small is pretty great too!

I'll have to go with tall - I'm 5'10" and I love wearing heels which when I do makes me close to 6'2". I hated my height when I was younger, I was so jealous of the cute petite girls, but now I'm very comfortable in my skin. Funny thing is that once I was older I didn't feel very tall, the high school boys all caught up to me LOL, and the area I live in is very Dutch, everyone is tall but then I started traveling more and realized that I was a bit taller than average.

I am with you, I am 5'9". In school it was hard until the boys started growing. I love being tall!

I'll take short...I could always wear heels to be taller. My elsdest daughter is very petite at 12 she is only about 4'6" and I think she is going to struggle to hit 5 feet. She is well proportioned though, so I think that is the key whether you are tall or short.

I'd love to be tall. Not sure about very, very tall... but I'm somewhere inbetween 5'3" and 5'4" and even if I've been ok with that most of my life, being taller would be fun.

I've also been thinking more about height since becoming a teacher. :D When sitting alone with a computer all day, like I did at my previous job, height really didn't matter at all. But as a teacher I actually feel that being taller could have helpt a tiny bit. It would give me a better view... :D and I also think that it could make a difference being the same height or taller than the kids, rather than shorter than most of them... ;D

I actually like my height, I'm almost 5,2 (156,5 cm and yes half centimeters are important too!) Others think I'm short but I don't think So myself. I'm master at climbing chairs and finding ways to do tall stuff. Never wear heals to appear taller either. Seldom have to duck when others have to!

I really appreciate that we all are different heights.

Tall tall!! I am 5'3 and I wish I were taller.
I was on the phone the other day with a friend that sees me quiet regularly and I mentioned something about my height. She said, " You can't be that short Denise, you seem like a tall woman to me." For some reason that made me very very happy. :)
