April Reveal RAK #1 - What's popping?

April Reveal RAK #1 - What's popping?

Postby StephanieEloise » Mar 28th, '14, 7:07 pm

I know some of you are still under a pile of snow, but for those of you who aren't, what are you seeing popping up in your yards? This is our first spring in our new house, so we are seeing what we didn't see last year! Forsythia, daffodils, tulip poplars, and Bradford pears!

What are you seeing where you are?

I'm just happy to see our sad looking grass so far in Michigan. Just a few piles of snow here and there in our yard left. Hope it's all gone soon!

Still buried under snow. I guess I could say the driveway is popping out from under the ice. ;) We have lilacs, tiger lilies and peonies in our yard, come warmer temps. :)

Sorry everyone- don't throw snowballs at me, but I have not seen any snow here in Florida. ;)-
We are awaiting thunderstorms tonight. I am seeing palm trees and the last bit of my pink azaleas outside.

This past week we've finally been able to see the yard without a blanket of snow. No buds yet...but I'm hopeful that they'll start popping up soon.

So exciting to see what shows up for your first Spring in your home, Stephanie!

Our mulberry tree is almost in full foliage, so I am seeing a bunch of the little fuzzy caterpillar-looking blossom things its been dropping. My new tortoise seems to enjoy eating them, so it has been fun watching him forage. :)

We just received a couple more inches of snow yesterday....so I only see the cement popping through when the sun hits it.

I can't tell you how excited I'm gonna be when I can see my grass again! I can see me deck...so I know spring is coming soon :)

Nothing popping up yet hear either, but most of the snow has finally melted. I love seeing the pretty spring flowers in the stores though. :)

It's nice to finally see grass and I have seen a few green sprouts of what may be a daffodil or two. I have seen a bunch of robins so at least there's a solid sign of Spring!!

We've had no snow either Marti.
We have daffs, Primulars and the trees are blossoming.
