QOTD 12 January

Question of the Day

QOTD 12 January

Postby Funky Fairy » Jan 12th, '17, 4:09 pm

We have a little snow coming down.
We've had rain all day so it's not really settling.
First time since this time last year that we see snow and it was about the same amount then.

Do you like snow?

I really don't.
I just can't be doing with all the mess and hassle that is involved.

I like snow for about one week at Christmas to hit the slopes skiing with my family. Otherwise, it's 76 and sunny for me! :)

I love snow. For me it is beautiful to watch it fall and accumulate. I love walking outside while it's falling and just take it in. It's so peaceful for me. I know I am in the minority, and I get rolling eyes around here when I get excited for snow, but I will continue to love it.

We had a blizzard last year in January, got about 2 feet. Although I was sore for a day after shoveling, I still love it. The extra paid day off work was nice too. ;D

I am one of the few in the minority who love snow too. Watching it fall and walking in the fresh snow are two of my all time favorite things. Until you get on the road and all the idiots in their massive trucks/SUVs who think they are invincible and can drive in snow/icy conditions like they do normally... ::) Then my blood boils and I loose the nice, calm, serene of the falling snow.

I love snow too! And I miss it so so much this year! We've had some minor snowfalls but the cold is just not setting. Instead everything is grey and dark still! At work we have sand and mud everywhere and it's a mess to take the kids inside after playing outside.

To me snow is beautiful and offers a great variety of activities. Sledging and snow angels and building stuff. I remember as a kid we used to build snow castles. My parents didn't like it because me and my friends used a huge pile that was next to a cross roads xD

love it. I really enjoy the seasons and like winter but there are some bummers. The city here doesn't plow so it is horrible driving. They hit the main roads but never very well and it's just a nightmare. I don't like that. But snow is so beautiful! I like hiking in it to. It's harder but a better work out. I used to love to ski but don't anymore, still I love the idea of it!
