Question of the Day

QOTD 28 December

Postby SuzannaL » Dec 28th, '16, 1:43 pm

We transition from 2016 to 2017 shortly!! Are you one to stay up late celebrating or are you like me and snoozing by the time midnight rolls around? Any fun plans?

I had thought about inviting friends over for NYE but I don't want them to be here until midnight. So that sort of defeats the purpose, right? I can't invite and say but leave before midnight! :D That said, not sure what I'm going to do. I would love to just scrap the night away!

Our family tradition is to have a night of snacks (junk food). We watch the ball drop EST and go to bed at 11pm CST. :) I know, I know, but we are getting older.
Thanks, Karen

we usually do stay up to see the ball drop. Not too much after that though.
We will have nice dinner and maybe the boys will be here, maybe not. ;)
Then on Sunday we have a big prime rib dinner here with all the kids/spouses/grandkids. 19 of us all together. Its' crazy because our house is so tiny but we make it work!

Our older kids think they should stay up and party, but me, not so much I would rather be asleep!

We will head over to our friend's house this evening and stay to watch the ball drop. We have been cooking this morning (appetizers and entrees to share) after a trip Wally world (It was the usual chaos there).

Ready to sit back and enjoy time with them watching football and delving into my Jan kits I received yesterday!
