Question of the Day

QOTD 10 November

Have you ever bungee jumped or gone sky diving? Do you have that desire?

I have done neither and have no desire to do either! LOL! I love a good thrill but after doing that bungee swing thing, I'm good. I can continue to live my life without massive adrenaline boosts.

Nooo, that's way too scary and dangerous for me. :) It doesn't happen often, but I sometimes enjoy rollercoasters etc (but I've never been in the "worst" and biggest ones) but I feel no urge whatsoever to go sky diving or bungee jumping. I can see why people enjoy it and perhaps in another life I would have loved it too... but not in this one. :D

Nope!! :D

I used to think that I should push myself to do scary things.
This comes from the child who would come down a small hill on her bottom for the fear of falling.

But now I don't do things that I don't want to.
I no longer go on scary roller coasters if I don't want to.
I can't see why.

However I do still fly and I no longer like it. I just love what's the other side :D

Nope and have no desire to do either one of those things!

I was on a mission trip in Guatemala and we visited Tikal. I forced myself to climb up and midway up I switched from climbing to scooting up on my rear end! Before we climbed the guide said that at least 2 people died every year from making the climb...and I still went! I told myself that it was a once in a lifetime moment and I'd be so glad that I did it. The view was amazing and I was so proud of myself for overcoming my fear of heights enough to do it. Going down was on my rear end as well ;D

Not many adrenaline junkies in this group, eh? Well, not that kind of adrenaline rush anyway!
We are all too practical for such things!
