QOTD 15 May

Question of the Day

QOTD 15 May

What would be your worst date?

Anything sporty for me.
Like going to watch a game of some sorts.
I just find it so boring. Plus when you are with someone who is really in to that sport, you can't even talk to them as they are concentrating.

i love sports and would love going to a Seahawks game or a Mariners game, no soccer, though. :(
The worst would be a loud bar late at night. I'm too old for that. LOL

That made me smile Alissa. When I saw you were the last to post I just smiled knowing how much you love your Sea Hawks :) :) :)
We are going to see the Colts against the Jaguars in London in October.
Ades a Colts fan.....so I must REALLY love him right??! :D :D

Yes, a loud bar I agree too Alissa.
I've never been fond of places like that. Even when I was young, I felt so out of place.
I think looking around you would see so many beautiful women and me being really short I've never felt sexy or attractive, so being in a place like that I just felt like I really stood out and felt so self conscious and very uncomfortable.

I would definitely go on a sports date, as long as I don't have to participate in it! I would never want to go on a bar date. Not in a million years! I'm with you Lisa. I was never comfortable in a bar, not even in my younger years. I just hated the whole scene!

I don't mind sporting events but not because I enjoy it. Michael loves the Cubs, Bears and Bulls so we go to a fair number of games. It's something he enjoys and spending that time with him doing something he loves is something I can support. Occasionally. :)

A bar date sounds like a nightmare these days! Especially if smoking is permitted. I spent most of my teen years in bars and nightclubs... Just not my scene anymore.

Suzanna are there are bars that allow smoking nowadays?
What does make me mad though as there is a no smoking in a public place law in the UK now, is that places like sat outside cafes etc is still allowing smokers. This to us is still a public place.
Yesterday morning it was sunny, went to Starbucks, but the smokers were all outside sat at the tables with their coffees. It really bugs me as it makes us stay inside.

completely agree! We have what I believe is a similar law in Sweden but outside its free to do what ever. Which may cause non smokers to be seated inside to avoid smoke. Worst thing I know is when people smoke outside of hospitals or just outside the doors to the grocery store. Like seriously, I have to walk though your s**t?

Worst date for me would not be a particular place but more of who I'm on a date with. I've come across this type a few times that seem to have no will of their own, every band you mention they love and everything you say is so right and plans for they future is absent. Then I'll rather go to a sport even with someone who really love that sport than going out with someone who can't say what their favorite color is or if they prefer rice of pasta XD I know I talk a lot but that actually takes someone who can talk back and even tell me to be quite sometimes. I absolutely hate having to push a conversation.
