Aida, that is absolutely stunning. I made my petals 1" X 3" and they don't look as full as yours, but, I think I will do OK. Any tips????

Aida--I just love the idea. I love the variety of ways one can use patterned paper besides just in strips, squares, etc. Thanks for sharing!

Lyla : the trick is to squeeze the tip of the petals, and curl them until they are practically a U shape. Try this ? Also I find that cardstock weight pattern papers works better thqan the thinner ones, which is why I find Basic Grey ideal for this project.

My pleasure Melissa ! :D Like you I LOVE paper, and can actually work with minimal embellishments, as long as I have a variety of papers that match.

Finally :

I've mounted the flower on two pattern papers and one cardstock simply because it looks more elegant. The flower measures a little over 8 X 8 ins, the finished piece 12 X 12 which would fit a shadow box perfectly.

Enjoy your finished project and I hope you had fun !!! :D

Wow, this just looks stunning! Your finished project looks like something I wouldn't have thought I could achieve, but broken down step by step, you've made it look quite straightforward!
