What's for dinner at your house during the CROP?

Postby nittygrittyjody » Nov 2nd, '13, 4:41 pm

Some of you are probably forgetting to even eat today! Love all the games and challenges going on around here!

Some of us eat though, and I always love to hear about food and what others do for meals. So since I brought it up, I'll tell you that we took the easy route and just ordered pizza for dinner. My husband worked this morning and has hung out and watched football this afternoon. I have been on the laptop. The kids have all been minding their business, and so we just wanted to keep that trend of relaxing going right through dinner. So pizza it is! :D

In our defense, we never just sit around and 'do nothing' on a weekend day. So this is really a good/nice treat for us.

How about you? What are you going to have for dinner? Who's cooking now?

We had leftovers from the Halloween party.
Ade had the leftover lasagne soup I had made and I had the chili that our friend bought over.
We popped some ciabatta bread in the oven to go with it.
Yiummy and very quick.

We are going the same route as you, Jody. We had a late night, my husband had to work today and I have been running around most of the day. I was going to cook, but I'm feeling the need to relax so Chinese delivery it is. :)

My family is having a much needed relax and hang out day as well, Jody. But Don is cooking tonight! He'll grill a steak for the boys, then he and I will have pepper steaks after they're in bed. He spoils me and I love it!! ;D

We're outside the pizza/restaurant delivery area for our town, so I tend to forget that's an option. :-\

Tony had 2 turkeys in the freezer from his work as holiday gifts. So he cooked one up today and we had turkey, baby potatoes and corn. DELISH

I ate left over pizza for lunch, not sure what I'm doing for dinner. My DD is staying at a friend's house, my guys are have a 24 Marathon (they will be responsible for their own dinner). Bacon & eggs is sounding pretty good to me!

I am feeling full of Halloween candy. Not the best choices today on food, although I did eat an apple and some carrots :)
