2-used french knots
3-tied loose threads to the title
4-used back stitch and french knots.
Love sewing on pages! Learned that from Ronda P. Never thought of using french knots though. They are really cute.

Photos are so sweet and great idea about making the kits.

I was multi-tasking and handstitching a tag while chatting with Ali and all. :)

This was so much fun! Thanks!

1) stitched title with Amy Tangerine tag

2) used cross stitch on journaling block and french/colonial knot with ribbon on tag.
3) i bundled up some white and yellow thread and glued them down
4) I added a bunch of enamel dots (french knot) and used some rub on stitches (cross stitch)

I used mainly October kit plus cable knot add-on.

Here's my entry for Emily's Challenge #1

Image

#1 - Sew on title: I faux stitched on the cork letters and then machine stitched on the black background
#2 - Creative Stitching: Decorative stitching around the burlap and on the black scalloped "border" strip
#3 - Loose threads - Hanging from the top border and from the black scalloped border strip
#4 - 2 + Varieties of stitches - Straight stitching around the border and title. Two different decorative stitches as mentioned above.

These are so great ladies! And Jeany, I gave you options because I know not everyone has a sewing machine handy, so I expect to see your entry :)
