Your favorite "oldie but goodie"

So what is your favorite oldie but goodie scrap supply? I am not talking the latest and or newest trend - what old staple that has been around a long time do you love to use on your pages? I love index tabs, photo anchors and book plates. ;D

Brads! I love them- but not shaped ones really. I also use eyelets, even though they are apparently not in style anymore..... althought I disagree with that. :)

Hmmm..... I only started scrappin' two years ago, but I'd have to say it's those Making Memories (3"x3") transparent frames. I like to use them as ornaments and as covers of mini books. I also agree w/ Erin- brads are always handy.

Along these lines, what older scrappin' products are you glad to see disappearing? For me it has to be the bottle cap phenomenon. I liked the idea or re-purposing real bottle caps for use in art and scrapbooks, but to actually buy them as a scrap product never made sense to me!

Buttons.

They are my stand by.  Come to think of it. . . I haven't used any in quite awhile, though.

buttons, letter stickers, plain old bazzill cardstock (the original texture), markers and sometimes even deco scissors.

I'd have to say my rubber stamps. My collection goes back about 15 years, but I still find myself pulling them out again and again. And yes, I'm collecting the acrylic ones now as well!

I forgot an important one. The thing that I use the most in my scrapbooking is my black journaling pen. I just love it.
