Little B washi tape

Postby TerryB » May 4th, '16, 7:16 pm

Is anybody else struggling with the Little B washi in the April ditl kit? I don't find Little B washi to be sticky enough in general. It's never been a big issue before, because I would just add some adhesive to the back of it. However, the washi in the April kit is very thin, and it's not easy to get adhesive on. I used it a couple times by wrapping it around the paper, and taping it down on the backside, and I suppose I could use my tiny attacher if needed, but I was wondering if anybody had other suggestions.

I am not a big washi fan for that reason. I'm sorry it's not sticky, have you ever sent your thoughts into Little B? I know they are a fabulous company to work with, they might welcome your concerns!

I use washi all the time and I agree the thin ones can be tough. The best thing I have used is a glue stick. I lay it down on a piece of paper and run a glue stick over it.

I didn't have any trouble with my washi in the April kits adhering. I would definitely contact Little B.

I didn't have a problem with the roll in the kit but I've had Little B skinny washi before that didn't stick. I also just took a glue stick, a bit annoying but it works.

Maybe try some Aleene's tacky glue or Tombow MonoAqua Adhesive Terry?

I have noticed that with Little B too and with skinny washi in general. I use a little Tombow on each end to help it stick.

I find that the Little B tapes with foil are the culprits. Not sticky enough for me. One of my April tapes stuck down fine, but I noticed the other was not good. I don't remember which one. I use the Tombow mono adhesive, too, when they don't stick well.
