Save it or scrap it?

Come here to talk about all things scrapbooking!

Save it or scrap it?

Postby nittygrittyjody » Sep 5th, '14, 9:12 am

So hopefully you will all be getting the Story Time kit very soon! I have been so in love with every bit of this month's kit. I have scrapped 5 pages and a mini book so far and have plans and ideas for using more of the loveliness in my next projects!

I know some of the design team members mentioned that this kit seemed tricky or intimidating almost, simply because we all love it so much. Others of us jumped in and could scrap all day with it and still want more time to play at the end of the day! :)

So I am wondering, are you the type of scrapper who jumps in and starts cutting and using up stuff when you love it so much...or do you like to hang onto it and save it? Chime in here!

I've done both actually. Lately however, I've just been diving in and cutting without regard. It feels so good!

I've done both. The August kit I've almost used all the pretty pattern paper up in it. I don't know what motivated specifically with that kit but I went to town with it

Use to be a save it, now more of a scrap it! (Well, most of the time! There is some exclusive patterned paper from @StephanieEloiuse that I have been saving though truth be told).

I'll admit that I've been buying the extra paper packs so I have Steph's papers to hoard for special layouts. That way I can use some right away and still have back ups

Used to save it. Now I scrap with reckless abandon.
