Hi,

What do you think of our September Stamps?
We can read all about them here on the blog today and see some fun examples of how to use them.
http://www.cocoadaisy.com/blog/stamping ... sensation/

When you kits start arriving please do come back here and share how you have used yours.
We'd love to see.

I adore Sharmaine's scribbles but I have not used them yet. I have tried but it feels strange I think because I like to scribble myself. :)

Yes, Denise, as an authentic scribbler you are probably the last person who needed those stamps! But for those of us looking to emulate your whimsical style, I imagine they will be quite freeing. :)

A couple of the stamps look like they could almost be words. I've tried to decipher them. Is there some sneaky Aussie message embedded in there? Like "I heart Mr. Harry Higgins" or "Dave is my Tasmanian Devil"?

HA HA!!
You picked up on that?! hehe
I can tell you that I thought of a word, relaxed, let my mind go free and scribbled backwards.
You weren't close but it was one word I do use a lot :)

I just thought of this - With the new electronic prescription signatures, someday the unreadable doc signature will be obsolete and our kids will have no idea what the joke is about. WOW

Is doctors handwriting the same in every country then?
Maybe they have their own unique language/script thing going on????

Alissa - I kind of have that same feeling this month but I reserve my opinion now because I have been proven wrong before.

The problem I have is that by the time we get our kit, the DT receive the next month's kit and start talking about that one that I lose the mojo/excitement for the current kit that I just received. I forget the ideas that I may have had to use the stamps in the current kit. Does that make sense?

Yes! lol We need to have our own thread about what we are doing with the current kit, even if the sneaks are coming. ;D

Makes total sense! I understand about reserving opinions, too. I got some Echo Park We Are Family from a friend last month and the colors made me gag :o But I LOVE a good challenge so I was determined to use it ALL and I loved everything I made! ;D

I'm just not sure I need help with scribbling. It does inspire me to have DS draw all over a piece of cardstock and that would be my patterned paper....
