You don't need to write a poem for this peek

Postby nittygrittyjody » Feb 24th, '13, 10:24 pm

If you saw Diana's peeks, you know what I am referring to about the poem. :D

You can still write one if you like, but I am offering a couple of peeks from inside the minibook I made using March's Main kit- Sketchbook and the Freehand add-on. A very versatile kit! I have had fun with it for two days now. I hope you will have lots of fun with it as well! And now, here is a bit of what I have been up to...

I love your minis, Jody! Each page is like a little treasure chest - fabulous! I'm obsessed with the raccon, flair, and now the Thickers... OMG!

ETA: I had to go back to Diana's sneak to catch up... Hilarious!

Lovely book by you.
Full of bits I know are good.
Inspiring all.

Not a poem, but a haiku.

Haiku works just fine here, Emily!
Thanks for all the nice remarks, ladies. I can't wait to see the March gallery either. It's going to be another good one!!

Emily stole my haiku!!!! :o

No matter, how about a (badly done) limerick!

There once was a girl named Jody.
She made pretty things that didn't look grody.
she made me want to go shopping
and then sit down and start cropping.
I wish she didn't live so far away in Minnesody.

ps Nothing rhymes with antlers.

I've only got 'antlers schmantlers'.
You did great for having to rhyme with Jody. I think scrapping a mini will be easier and more fun than trying to write a limerick. :)
I am happy to inspire minis...thanks and link us up with pics if anyone makes one. I love to see what you all come up with too!

Looks great, Jody! I am excited about that "This Books Belongs To..." stamp. :) :)

For some reason the bit about nothing rhyming with antlers reminded me of Adam Sandler's "This is a Song About Elmo". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Py2f38iPBeI

Carmen, thats one of our favorite Sesame Street songs. My little guys have watched it on my phone on youtube many times. We may have to pull that back into rotation again! =)

I've got one more sneak coming right up!
