Re: OCTOBER REVEAL: Can you tell whose style I borrowed?

I see some similarities to Doris Sander, so that's my guess!

I loved swapping styles with another scrapping on the few occasions that I've done it. It is a fun way to push yourself to try new things!

Re: OCTOBER REVEAL: Design Team gallery

I've only clicked a few projects so far, but I had to comment on them because they are sooo good!! Even more amazing as I learn of the tight turn around! I am feeling the excitement to get back to full-time scrapping again. Could be the weather or time of year...but I'm thinking it's the awesome ins...

Re: October Reveal: Momento

So good! The brown floral pp is adorable...as are the chipboard shapes and all the cute details mixed together in this kit! That little deer and tiny suitcase are calling my name. :) I may need to drop off some Bigby's at the Bunker this week to see it all in person just to make sure it really is th...

Re: OCTOBER REVEAL! Check in here :)

Hi Jody, nice to see you here, we miss you. Awe, the feeling is mutual! I was at Michaels today and wanted to buy a bunch of new stuff. I did pick up a few goodies and one of my daughters and I are making a banner and goodie basket for when my parents move by us this weekend. It felt good to cut pa...

Re: OCTOBER REVEAL: Let's talk food

I love fall foods...almost anything roasted, baked or simmered is good in my book. I spotted and saved a link to homemade pumpkin granola that I plan to make this week. The house always smells so good in autumn when the kitchen is buzzing! I agree with Christine...the Daisy Designers are great cooks...

Re: Ideas for the cute Muslin Bags the kits come in?

I cut one of the bags apart and actually used it as the pages of a mini book. To attach photos and embellishments I machine-stitched and stapled the items to the muselin. It is one of my favorite projects ever! I've thought about cutting shapes out of the bags or tearing them into strips and using i...

Re: Christine - Curious on the Stamp Selection?

I honestly wonder when Christine and all her team get their sleep. It's such an involved job, but it is so obvious that there is love, passion and talent that drives each CD kit! I am hoping to get back to scrapping sometime soon. I miss the people, the products and the finished results that come fr...

Summer crafting

Hi Daisies! I've been missing this place and all the inspiration around here lately! Summer is an extra busy time of year for me as my husband works (managing a golf club, restaurant/banquets, weddings, and pool/grille) and all our 6 kids are home with me. We live by and spend lots of time at the cl...

Re: Hello June!! This Weeks Chat - 06/01 - 06/07

I wish you all lots of added energy as you need it with busy schedules and full weeks right now! I am actually happy to have cut back on demands for my time and energy right now. School is done for my kids this coming Friday {they have a half day} and then SUMMER! My parents are coming here from Min...

Re: JUNE REVEAL | LET'S GO - DT GALLERY

I took a quick peek in there, and every gallery is amazing! Such great details, colors, techniques and whimsy on some projects too! Way to GO, DT! Makes me wish I was still on the team. Luckily you all still inspire me! I will try to leave some love in the next few days and take some closer looks. I...

Re: Thread Posts INSPIRATION Challenge

That IS a great idea! I've backed off a bit from scrapping and commenting in exchange for hanging out by the pool and staying busy with end-of-the-year school activities, so I may not get to it. But such a good concept and one that could be fun especially for using the QOTD forum for project life pa...

Re: Let's Go - have a WHALE of a time!

So cute! I love those adorable cut files too, but I have yet to get a cutting machine. I am always so close, but miss the big sales, so I guess it hasn't been the right time for me yet!

The papers look awesome again this month! Have a great reveal!

Re: Holiday Monday

My son is in a parade marching with his high school band this morning. It is fairly warm and just a few sprinkles. We're hoping for some clouds to move on out so we can enjoy hanging out with so many friends and members at the club pool. We have this week and next left of school, but we're ready to ...

Oh Anna, what a unique and thoughtful way to honor your Dad's life and memory! I hope it brings much comfort to you and your family and to his friends who sit there and remember him for years to come too.

Re: May Cards

The cards this month are fabulous! So much variety and such great designs and mix of papers and embellishments! There is always plenty in the kit for making cards and tags in addition to layouts. It's one way to stretch and get the most out of all the goodies in the box! I made several cards for May...

Re: If you could meet a Daisy...

I've had the good fortune to meet some of the Daisy DT and they are even more fun in person than online! A real-life meet up would be great! Especially if it were to simply craft, sip lattes, eat good food, laugh, cry and encourage one another in person! Maybe there should be a week of Cocoa Daisy s...
