Lunch Break, sit by me!

I found the September Lunch Break kit SOOOOO easy to work with, I only had a limited amount of scrappy time and having things come together so nicely made it simple to finish my gallery before we left to take the kids to college. I like a kit like that. :) My favorite parts? The exclusive papers and...

Re: My College Freshman is coming home today

You are a lucky momma! We'll be officially leaving our two college kids here tomorrow, and they aren't close enough to come home on weekends, so I think I'm going to be a mess driving back to Colorado on Sunday. But they are both so ready and happy to be here, I am glad I'm not forcing them to fly. ...

Re: Help -- Redoing a 40-year old album

Journaling would have been precious, perhaps your son could add his memories if he has some?

Re: Pets?

We don't have pets. I am allergic and just not an animal person. Neither is my husband, but our kids wanted a dog so badly a few years ago. We were seriously considering getting a teacup poodle, but when I learned about care procedures for that particular breed, I nixed the idea. I'm just not an ani...

Re: Local Events

I can totally hear you saying Farnborough Airshow. :) That sounds like a unique and lovely way to spend your time. I hope you enjoy it. We went to an antique car show last month, there were probably 500 cars there, most of them lovingly restored. It was really interesting and amazing. Some of the ca...

Re: QOTD 11th July

I cut my own hair very short when I was pregnant with Annie and kept it that short for a few years. I thought the same thing as you Lisa, and feel the same way about how it actually looked.

Re: July Reveal- Who's here?

I'm here from stormy Denver CO. We're getting severe thunderstorm warnings, and I just heard a raindrop hit the window, so maybe it will actually come!!!

Do you get fireflies in Texas Miriam? We don't have them here in Denver, I miss them.
