Re: QOTD July 1

LOVE them. Growing up we had bonfire night and get loads of firecrackers.
A few years ago they banned fireworks unless you had a permit so now its usually big events that you will see them and they are few and far between.

Re: Are you anticipating the reveal?

I have to say (which is very unhelpful I know lol) that the colours of the July kit are what got my heart pounding too AND they haven't disappointed. I just finished my 4th layout (I SHOULD BE IN BED) just because I loved the colours that were in the pattern papers. I like the philosophy of making m...

Re: And now I feel bad

take the moment Lisa and hold it close :)
Megan instagrammed a photo last night and hashtagged it with "life is good with a mum like you"

I will hold that tag for as long as I can :)

Re: Very Important Question

I have. Don't let the cuteness fool you. I think they are a little like expensive chewy cardboard and yet not... Flavoured, perhaps, to hide the expensive chewy cardboardness?? But I will admit I haven't had a proper chef-y made one. So they may hold more flavour, to again disguise the expensive che...

Re: Do themed paper collections put you off?

I don't like themes for themes either lol But I twist it my way and it's all good. I made this page with June's kit and had to point out to a friend that the paper had airplanes, she totally didn't see it till I pointed it out. http://www.cocoadaisy.com/forum/gallery/image.php?album_id=1787&imag...

Re: A Coffee/Gardening Tip for you

We seem to always strike it lucky when buying ground coffee. We drink a really mild Starbucks blend that I don't think is overly popular. We often ask and they have to go and hunt for the blend. They come back and it's either out of stock or about to go out. So we either get if for free or half pri...

Re: A Coffee/Gardening Tip for you

We compost our egg shells and coffee grounds, as well as our veggie peelings.
I don't think we drink enough ground coffee to notice with the slugs.
I'd happily change that, by drinking more coffee, but I don't think the wallet would like it ;)

Re: Any creativity this weekend???

it's a long weekend here The week has been a busy one (will I ever stop saying that?!) and the weekend seems to have flowed on from that. My CD kit arrived this week but I am still to have a good look let alone create anything. Hoping to make a start this afternoon if the day allows :) It's now 1.50...

Re: QOTD 25 May

I often say the wrong name for the kids. I often get words muddled but it's more along the lines of me talking and not being able to think of the next word. I often say things like "go put your washing in the microwave" or "put the milk in the dishwasher"... things like that. Bei...
