Re: Mini Crop - National Scrapbooking Day - Chat

Hi everyone! I'm Lydia from BC, Canada. I haven't been around here in far too long, but was overjoyed to see that there is a mini-crop going on here today. CD crops are the best! I've been out to a fencing tournament this morning and might do a bit of gardening this afternoon since it's the first ni...

Re: Welcome to the 2017 Mini Crop

Good afternoon everyone! I'm checking in after spending the morning at the boys' fencing tournament. I'll be there most of tomorrow too, so this afternoon is all MINE for scrapping!

Re: QOTD | April 12

Mmm... I love lilacs - and our are starting to show signs of life again!

I also love mock orange bushes, but that's more of a summer scent. I used to ride my bike past a certain house just to smell the mock orange that wafted across the road.

Re: QOTD 28 July

We'll be on vacation for most of the Olympics, so I don't know how much we'll watch. Probably not too much. But my boys have taken up fencing this year, so I'll be looking up some of those videos on the web at least. And I hope to catch a bit of diving. I'm always in awe of what they can do.

Re: QOTD 14 July

I like to buy as much fresh, local food as possible, but I don't buy anything labelled organic in the grocery store. We know the people who raise most of our meat by name. I love that. And in summer, I try to buy many of our veggies from a local family farm. And we're lucky that there is a growing n...

Re: MAY REVEAL: RAK #2

I haven't really had tea much lately, but I love most kinds. Earl Grey hot with a touch of honey, lemon ginger herbal tea, and a Japanese green tea with roasted rice in it are some faves. Now I'm craving some of that Japanese green tea - the roasted rice gives it a wonderful nutty flavour!

Re: MAY REVEAL: What Did You Get?

I got the DITL kit, the Daisydori and the acetate alpha. I was too slow to get the scrapbooking kit this month. Maybe I need to resub soon! ;)

Re: QOTD 27 March

Hello, my name is Lydia and I'm a jelly bean addict. :D This is the only time of the year that I allow myself to go off the jelly bean wagon. As for the boys, I kept it chocolate only this year. My middle guy has a dental appliance and will be getting braces shortly, so he isn't allowed anything sti...

Re: MARCH REVEAL: ADD-ONS What did you get?

Daisy Dori, DITL, and the overlay add-on. I couldn't resist those bold blues and greens! Considering changing my sub to DITL.

Re: MARCH REVEAL : FAVORITE FLOWER

All of them! If I had to pick one, probably tulips. But then Sylvia reminded me to Lily of the Valley, and that makes me all nostalgic. And I don't think of them as a spring flower, but pansies are the first thing I plant in my containers in the spring. They make me happy all spring, summer and fall.
