Re: QOTD 11-11

I'd give up the radio - purely because I can get all the digital radio stations through my cable package! :D Or is that cheating???

Re: QOTD 11-10

Winter in England is pretty much just dark, dreary, cold and very wet! We don't get a lot of snow, but we sure get a lot of rain. But then thats the same all year round so no change there!

Re: QOTD 11-6

I do like my handwriting, and always use it on my layouts - I never type journalling, I like it to be more personal. Also, its easier to squeeze it in if its handwritten - not so much planning involved.

Re: QOTD 10-9

I love shopping for funky coloured T-shirts with printed designs on the front - I love these for chilling out at the weekend and have an old one with Garfield one which I wear as my PJs with a pair of track bottoms :)

Re: QOTD 10-6

Fastest is probably an hour, but I wasn't altogether happy with it afterwards. I can happily spend a whole evening on one layout!

Re: QOTD 10-3

My boyfriend Ed is in a traditional drum corps so I have seen him march in many different parades from carnivals and St Patricks Day parads to the Shakespeare's birthday celebrations in Stratford upon Avon. Never actually been in them myself though, unless you count walking alongside carrying his sp...

Re: any Office fans?

Being British I'm bound to say this, but having seen a few episodes of The Office: An American Workplace, its just not a patch on Ricky Gervais playing the boss in the British office. And Gareth (he played one of the pirates in Pirates of the Carribean - the one with the wooden eye) is hysterical to...

Re: QOTD 9-24

I guess British TV is totally different but I'm currently enjoying Merlin, Tess of the D'Urbevilles, Poirot, Eastenders and waiting patiently for the return of Doctor Who and Ashes to Ashes (the follow up series to Life on Mars - its an awesome time travel cop drama!).

Re: QOTD 9-26

No, Halloween isn't really a big deal over here (yet!) - until the last few years you hardly saw trick or treaters at all. For me, its all about Guy Fawkes night - I love going to a big display or having a bonfire and some fireworks at home, and eating baked potatos and chilli outside. Its not reall...

Re: QOTD 8-20

We have three cats - we were supposed to get two (Bert and Ernie) from the rescue centre but when we got there their little sister (the runt of the litter) was so cute we couldn't leave her behind! So we named her Elmo!

Re: QOTD 8-21

I am NOT good at getting up. Boyf's alarm goes off at 6.30. He jumps straight out of bed but it normally takes me at least half an hour of breakfast TV before I emerge - I don't know how he does it!

Re: QOTD 6-4

Defintely paint! I've been using it all the time at the moment to add depth to my layouts and just treated myself to a few masks after really enjoying playing with the damask one in the CD May kit...

Re: QOTD 6-2

All in one spot, as I'd have to put the other set in the loft and I don't fancy their chances up there! I do get rid of a load of clothes each season and put them in the clothing bank though, otherwise my wardrobe would be rammed!
