Re: QOTD | DITL

How did it turn out, Suz?

I've only done that once, and did forget a few hours but I did pretty well! I might try again this summer on a day when it would be manageable for me. I found it quite distracting to try to remember each and every hour to record what I was doing.

Re: QOTD | JUNE 21

That sounds perfect, Suz! I spent the day running errands, but enjoyed the weather and appreciated that it wasn't too hot or too wet to do what I needed to do. My son got to spend the day at the pool with friends so I'm grateful he's off to a great summer.

Re: QOTD l June 6

Wow! It's fun that you remember that, Suz. Have you scrapped that story? My favorite was Trixie Beldon. I read the whole series, begging for new books each time we went to the grocery store (they sold them there). I think one summer I spent my entire allowance on those little hardcover books. Wish I...

Re: QOTD 05 June

Among my favorites are Lollipop Box Club and Suzanna Lee! I am especially enjoying your vlog and organization videos, Lisa!

I also love Inkie Quill at the moment. I have a huge list of scrappers I play while I'm scrapping or organizing, but those are my favorite 3.

Re: QOTD | June 1

Too hard! Santana's Supernatural comes to mind, but you can't beat a 'greatest hits' album for variety. Maybe Tina Turner, Neil Diamond or Prince.

Re: Summer Reading

Those are some great reads! I have only read Treasure Island of the three you have listed, but I have ridden on the Orient Express! Does that count for something?! LOL Oh, you should definitely read it, then! They've remade the film with Johnny Depp and Michelle Pfeiffer and it's coming out this fa...

LeGuin's Earthsea trilogy Robert L Stevenson's Treasure Island Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express For bookclub, we're reading Jodi Picoult's Small Great Things for June, but I haven't started...

Re: Thank You

Thank you, Lisa! It was a fun day and you motivated me to complete those 2 layouts and given me some ideas for others. I wish I had had more time that week, but my May has been crazy busy!

Re: QOTD |May 30

I think we'll try to hit the drive-in for Cars 3. We're big fans of the original Cars and the drive-in so it sounds like a fun summer thing to do.

The movie we're really looking forward to doesn't come out until 2018 - The Incredibles 2. We've been looking forward to that one forever.

Re: QOTD | May 18

I never used to be an ice cream person, but these last few years I've grown an affection for it, but only on a hot summer day. But my all time favorite summer dessert is a pina colada! Or anything with pineapple and coconut.

Re: QOTD | May 9

LOL I guess I do startled easily, but a lot of the fun of something for me is in the planning and anticipation. I think it's the same thing as liking a road trip. I like the journey to get there. I like being there, too, of course, but honestly, the journey is the most fun part to me.

Re: QOTD | May 9

Nope, I like anticipation. I like to look forward to things and/or prepare myself for what's to come. A surprise party would be my idea of a nightmare.

Re: QOTD | May 10

We love them and try to eat them several times per week while they're in season. Had a big berry salad for dinner last night with roast chicken and veggies and corn on the cob. Yum.

Re: QOTD 08 May

Thanks for the motivating Mini Crop. I worked a few minutes here and there on a current mini about Lexi who we lost 4 yrs ago filled with some great memories of her spunky spirit, parties, her friends and other events. Love stash busting with some favorite papers/pieces I've hoarded. Carolyn and Su...

Re: QOTD 08 May

I made 2 LOs in the chaos that is my studio. :D I still need to photograph the second one for challenge #2 and post it up.

But I absolutely cannot make anything further until I clean my space. There's barely a 12x12 clear space to work at this point! :D
