Hello, Cocoa Daisy fans! Angie Pond here with you today. I'm thrilled to be guest designing for the month of February.
For my first project, I wanted to use the stamp set in a way that you may not think of. Do you see the orange wonky shaped rectangles on my layout? Those images are from the exclamation mark on the stamp set. I simply cut the exclamation mark apart and used the top half to make those orange marks. The 'period' part of the exclamation mark was used to make the small black circles on the layout. Thinking outside of the box with your stamp set will give you many more options and it will help 'stretch' your kit.
I also used the stamp set to spell out the word "Archie." I stamped the letters in black ink on a separate piece of cardstock, colored them in and then fussy cut them out--which makes the stamped images more like die cuts. Making your stamped images into die cuts means you can move the pieces around on your layout without the fear of ruining your project.
I hope you will find these tips helpful!
