The whimsical office set with its hand drawn pens, pencils and other desk supplies is the perfect set for adding a little touch to any generic “thank you” or “hello” card. They would also look cute on a gift tag for a co worker or teacher. I created a my “hi” card using the pen and pencil stamp, leaving them simple and uncolored, just fussy cutting around them. I stamped the pencil twice on a strip of patterned paper, colored them in with watercolor paints and used them as tag for a few pencils, makes a cute little gift you can tuck into your kid’s lunch bag.
We had a number of people asking how to use the scribble stamp sets included in the Main and Day in the Life kits. You can of course use them as accent scribbles, but what about using them to create a flower, or a butterfly like I did on my “thank you” card. I used a scribble from the Day in the Life set, stamped it twice on patterned paper, them out and then joined them together to make an abstract butterfly.
