This is my clipboard project/garland that I made for the Cocoa Daisy Fall Crop class. It is my favorite project that I have put together and the basis of it was to create lots of layers, play around with techniques and embellishments, and to just enjoy the process! So that's what I did. It came together so easily. I used a variety of textures and papers and glassine envelopes as the base pages , and then I just carried similar elements and colors throughout the pages to give them a unified feel. the title of this album, "I thank my lucky stars" was inspired in part by the name of this months kit- Stargazing. I knew I wanted to handcut stars and spotlight the real stars in my days- my husband and kids. So that's the simple version of the class. The full instructions are posted in the Fall Crop 2013 thread. I hope you enjoy making an album like this one too!
